Golf The Bay began with a small frustration. Finding a tee time around here meant opening a dozen browser tabs — a different booking system for every course, each with its own login and its own quirks — just to learn who had a 7:40 open on Saturday.
So we made one place to look. Golf The Bay gathers live availability from the booking systems behind public courses across the region and sets it side by side — the time, the price, the course — so you can settle on a round and get on with your day.
There is nothing to join and nothing to sell you. We don't run the courses and we don't take your booking. When you spot a time you like, you reserve it directly with the course, the way you always have. We simply help you find it sooner.
- i. One search, every course. More than 120 public courses, from the city out to Monterey and the wine country, gathered into a single list.
- ii. Prices, side by side. Rates laid out plainly across booking systems, so the better value is easy to see.
- iii. A map worth lingering over. Drawn in the spirit of the old USGS topographic charts rather than a modern road map.
- iv. The particulars. Yardage, slope, course rating, a photograph or two, and directions — collected for each course.
- v. Kept current. Availability is refreshed through the day, so the openings you see are the openings that remain.
Pull up the map, find your round, and we'll see you on the first tee.
